President's Message

STRONG SPRING MARKET? ALL THE SIGNS POINT TO “YES”

Real Estate is showing positive signs of growth:
+Pending homes are up
+Manufacturer sales are up
+Mortgage rates are holding at low levels
+NAR chief economist states the two tax credits combined will stimulate 2.4 million in sales in 2010,
+ With a significant impact on closed sales in the coming several months.
=Just stay positive, focused and work hard and 2010 will be a successful year.

I was so proud of our Association when our board recently approved a $2,000 donation to the American Red Cross for Haiti relief efforts. Our hearts go out to them, and we hope that this money will help in the efforts to rebuild the country
 
Finally, I want to once again thank each of you for the privilege of allowing me to serve as your President for 2010. We have so many great things on tap to help our members, and I am so proud to have the opportunity to help shape them for the betterment of each of you.  Together we will make 2010 a truly spectacular year.
